Cliff Floyd....Cliff Floyd....Cliff Floyd....

Just a friendly reminder to all, Canada Post may be on strike or lockout out, or otherwise not doing work like delivering packages and letters so until that is cleared up, no trading to/from me - but honestly, I expect if it happens, it should only last a few days. I am hoping I get a couple more packages in before it hits - I hate having trades just sitting open due t mail issues.

The more things change, the more they seem to stay the same, as we end off another package of 80 baseball cards from Dollarama today, which we started yesterday, and end it with a familiar face.

First though, since there were no Jays, we start with the insert keepers...

Another Diamond King to go with yesterday's. Harold Baines was a solid hand in the field, though not quite Hall of Fame caliber, a solid MLB lifer. He never got above 7% voting for the Hall of Fame, but was able to play in the majors from the age of 21 to the age of 42.

He is joined by a couple typical Bowman/Bowman Chrome prospect inserts.

Luckily a couple other nice adds in the bunch though as well with error inserts.

A 9189 Fleer uncorrected error with a spelling mistake on the back regarding Orel Hershiser, and a 1991 Topps Boyd with the logo banner border missing on the right side where his arm is. Not sure if that is more a variation than error, but either way works.

Moving on to the new to me cards...

The man who is the hotel chain, Howard Johnson, and of course Barry Bonds - heck and even Gregg Jeffries are names that ring out from my childhood watching baseball. Even is Alonzo seems to want more attention with two cards here.

Stadium Club almost always did a great job of standing out as, even here with this group, it is the card my eyes gravitate towards as being the most sleek and "pretty" of the bunch.

Traders for anyone interested...

Interesting Bobby Bonds Jr. minor league card here...oh and wait...

I swear, this card is going to haunt my dreams. One a repack is rough enough, but three...on the same side...forget the cat, it seems like Cliff Floyd came back, the very next day...
