I am sure I'll go quicker through the 2021 Topps base set once I get through the handling of 20+ doubles of some cards, but let's see how we do on cards 19-54...
I wouldn't have been surprised if we didn't see Trout as he is a big star and a collected guy by many but I did get one....and about 20+ others which are up for trade. It isn't a rare card at all, but just one I could see having been pulled aside before the lot was sold.
That being said, the missing cards continue to be the rookies. Not all of them, and some slip by, but, all rookies nonetheless.
The more I see the design, the more - it really doesn't make an impact. I am not a big fan of the diagonal design on the set this year, but it isn't super offensive, just different. As you can see when the cards are lined up, the design does bleed flawlessly from the name banner of the right of a card, to the box design finishing on the left for the card beside it. I gather this is what they were going for, so, good for them.
As suaul, a lot of standard photo work on the flagship set, with some nice ones which do stand out like Lewis at the wall - very nice capture on that one.
