Build of A Set and Insert Set

1992-93 O Pee Chee as a set, is one I am slowly building.. Mainly because I have come across enough of it to take a go at it, but I don't mind the design.

I am getting near to 90% done on the base set, but do have a few knocked off with these cards today including Holik above, Cujo and Barrasso below.

Design isn't a favourite, but early 90s was a great time following the sport, so always love seeing the names of the day, including Ray Bourque - amazing defender.

Isn't just the base set that came up, but an insert set I was about half way on, but now am about 75% done on...

The 25th anniversary insert set highlights the changing designs over the 25 years for the O Pee Chee sets, with a card for each year reprinted on the front, and a slight difference to the back, so as not to confuse with the original cards, which I can absolutely appreciate.

I needed Mike Bossy above, and all of the cards below except Esposito....

A nice little set to commemorate how much O Pee Chee changed and grew over those 25 years. The big name I need from the run though is Gretzky, though still a few others as well, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them later in this lot as these aren't expensive cards or anything, but a nice summary insert set.

  1. I'm not familiar with this set. I must have already taken a break from collecting by the time this product came out. But lots of familiar names... and those commemorative cards are cool.
