More 2024 Topps baseball - or so said the 2026 Lot, and so there shall be. As I work through a couple of the larger "chunks" for sets, I will not show the duplicated I got, but as always, they are listed in TCDB for anyone interested. Instead, we show the keepers because, those are what make me happies in pulling from the lot!
Definitely not my first copy of this card. Actually, according to TCDB, this is card number four into my collection. A bit surprised just the one given the about 200 cards I went through today, but that's okay, means plenty of other cards to share and build into the set!
The additions today bring my flagship set up to 259 of 700. Getting there, and hoping we can get to about the half way mark from this lot. Still plenty of great looking cards in the set that I am happy to see and get, like the Washington team card above.
The "moment" type cards like the Best of the Best above are growing on me a little. I still much rather each card have it's subject material on the front - ie. individual player cards, manager, team card, but some of these "moments" are pretty nice and have a bit of a Topps Now vibe.
Snell was my favourite LA pitcher in the World Series as a Jays fan - had two good starts the Jays beat up on him in.
Hernandez with the floating bat is a great looking card - too bad it wasn't while still a Jay or I could collect a bunch of them for the team collection!
Definitely getting some rookie cards in the bunch, but a little lighter than I would expect, so guessing some have been pulled - just not Porter here apparently.
A fu day and a bunch of adds.....should see more of that tomorrow!
