I wanna get a Young Star

There are a number of things in cards and their look, that I like if done right...sparkle effect, gold foil, thick card stock. These can all have great effect. Now, put these together, the result should be great - right?

Highlight:

2002-03 Bowman Young Stars is a set I had never seen at all before. When I saw it from the side, I thought I some how ended up with a jersey card in the Santa Lot which would truly surprise me. That is how thick the cards are, and as you can see (kinda) from the scan, the effect of sparkle and gold foil make for one generally gawdy looking card...

Don't get me wrong - new set seen - yay - ugliness....oh well, can't win them all.

Just the one...

Traders:

With the 1991 Pro Set, actually a few here that were still outstanding on the set, so good for that. As for the Kip card, I have gone back and forth on whether I want to collect the French version set of 1991-92 Pro Set since I seem to get a fair bit of them, but I feel since I can't enjoy the language since I really only speak and read English, it wouldn't be fair to others who would truly appreciate the language.

  1. From the scan, the sparkle card looks like a snow card, which would have been much cooler
