An error a long time coming

So while I was organizing the Santa Lot cards a while ago, I noticed a 2004-05 Ultra basketball card that didn't seem to have the silver foil on it. It wasn't a card coming up any time soon, but because it was so unusual, I wanted to pose the question to the great people at the tradingcarddb.com to find out it is a type of error. In getting that answer, I also found a likely home for it. Not wanting to pull it from it's "spot" in the Santa Lot, I scanned and saved it for today's post, but it is in fact a long time gone from my collection.

Highlights:

Kaman isn't a big name player, but the error is pretty nice - hopefully it is a nice piece in Billy Kingsley's collection by now.

As for the O Pee Chee Canadian Heroes inserts - I'm not sure how I feel about these. I like the idea, but given they are not all NHL players, interesting it seems a bit odd from collecting, but I can go with it. I think this makes Tessa the first woman to have a card in what I consider my "permanent" collection.
