20 Years

It is amazing how time seems to pass quickly when you consider major life/world events, as it doesn't feel like 20 years since September 11, 2001. Enough time has passed that we now have young adults who weren't even born when the terror attacks of that day occurred.

As COVID has taught us, there will be other major events in our lifetime, but that doesn't change the significance of other such events, and it is important to remember each accordingly, and try to learn as a people, from each of them to ensure we don't have history repeat itself.

I wasn't into the hobby of collecting cards at the time of 9/11, though likely would have dove into it heavily as I am sure many do with hobbies for a sense of comfort, relief and diversion when there are stresses otherwise in life, but it's been a nice comfort on and off to slip into through lockdowns the last year and a half or so - whether it simply be a busying activity of organizing, or finding something that brings a bit of joy.

An appropriate patriotic subset to end with, given today.
