Surprise....but not a great one

On tap for today, one of the couple card related gifts I got on Valentine's Day.

Opening it up, we have...

Believe it or not - that Score package is a new one for my unopened pack collection because I didn't have the combination of logo offer and Patrick Roy (I assume) in the front picture. So, nice win right there.

Let's start with the Superstar pack...

Myles is probably not the superstar in the bunch - and the SP Authentic is a solid card to pull atleast, but none of these are keepers for my collection.

Next up, the 90s.

I would say the sets are everything you would expect from one of these - nothing from the second half of the 90s. From the cards being pulled, a Leaf may just be the highlight.

Last up, the 2009-10 Collector's Choice. This is a set on my list of "collecting", though not actively. Mostly because the packs do come out of repack products like this fairly often.

Given I only have about 15% of the set, the fact I get two dupes in Gomez and Parise, out of the 6 cards is pretty lousy. So yeah, highlight of the cards from this one will be the Krushelnyski Leaf card.

16 Cards, 40 Points

Looking at below, seems that there i a pattern on where Dollarama products end up, but we will see if that holds over time.

  1. Just curious. Is the Pauli Jaks card one of those 1991-92 UD Czech World Junior Tournament cards? Or is it just a regular 1991-92 UD base card?
