Making heritage cards look retro

Interest card that is a highlight, and a bit of a lowlight at the same time today:

It may be a 2007 Topps Heritage insert card, but given the retro material, the fact it some how ended up with a bit of a spattered staining in the top to top left, makes it some how even more apprpriate for the card.

Keepers:

Apparently the Chris Duncan card is a short print - so there is that I guess...but also happy to see a couple new 2002 Upper Deck Rookie Update cards so we can hopefully get that set back on track for possible completion....oh, and hi Samsonov...

Traders:

I have to talk about the 2005 Topps Heritage football LaDanian Tomlinson card. I may not be a football card collector, but I can still appreciate the retro look, and star power from the card. Did most sports vintage cards have little cartoon like graphics on the back? I miss those...

  1. Maybe that Burdette is actually a super rare, splatter parallel available only at Meijer's on Wednesdays in June?

    1. You bring up a good point...splatter Parallels. Can we define any such damaged card that way? Would work for me.
