Best team half pack ever

So, going with the Dollarama pick up from yesterday, figured I'd split one of the baseball card 80 packs over two days - half today, half tomorrow.

Honestly, the half today is hands down, the best half pack from a Jays perspective, I have ever had in one of these.

Just look at these Jays...

A few are dupes, but the George Bell is one of the variations I didn't have, the Paul Molitor, Juan Guzman and John Olerud Topps card are all new. What are the chances getting three John Olerud cards in this? Couldn't have done much better than getting 20% Jays on this half.

Oh, but it doesn't stop there....there was a nice little error card too...

A nice 1984 Donruss Diamond King. What could make it even better? It happens to be a simple error card as the name of the Galleries note on the back is spelled wrong. Little issue, but works for by error collection.

Inserts and variations? Yeah, some of those too...

A couple glossy cards,a Bowman insert (yeah, not so shocking there) and a nice die cut Cut Above of Lincecum.

There were some normal cards for keeps too...

So much goodness. Nice to reach back to 1982 Topps, a nice Wade Boggs, 1994 Topps Finest, and the nicest of the bunch - Walt Judnich out of Conlon. Looking back, the COnlon sets were one of the nicer sets coming out of the early 90s when you consider the subject matter. At the time, didn't really get a lot of legend/old time players on cards - at least not that come to mind quickly.

Can't even complain about the dupes as there aren't too many, and not many from the usual suspects of '89 - '91 Topps, Score, Donruss and Upper Deck.

So - will the half tomorrow be nearly this good? Heck, it could be 40 Cliff Floyd cards and I'll still call this the best 80 card pack I have ever picked up.

    1. If it happens - they would all quickly find their way to you. :)

  2. Lots of variety. I like that they even include oddballs and inserts.

    1. This is the main reason I find them worthwhile - the few unusual cards/inserts you find in each.
