Inserts Undercover

 As we have gone through the COVID lot of cards, it has been almost exclusively base cards with a sprinkling on inserts. A lot of the time, those inserts, are like the ones today, which hide in plain sight because they look like base cards.

I mean, if you didn't know any better, just going through the cards, these look like regular 2011-12 Upper Deck Victory cards. However, the "Update" for these, which are the cards numbered above 250, were inserted into the flagship product. So, lo and behold, we have inserts which don't really look much like inserts, since they can easily fit on the end of the regular Victory set!

Now, I do like the vibrant colour of the set this year, and will happily keep these inserts, though there were a couple duplicates, not scanned, but in my TCDB traders if you are interested.

The one that stands out today, is Jagr as a Philly. I mean, he is always a Penguin, maybe if you had to pick a second, I'd be forced to think Florida, as it sticks out in my mind as well, probably because, given his age, he was still doing amazingly well and deserved to be on that team, even though he was in his mid-40s.
