New Set For Month End

Happily, we get to see another set that is new enough for me, and starting in enough numbers that I am going to add this one to my slow build set...

Sure, it may just be the 2024 Topps flagship set, but it's new to me to see cards in this number, and I expect more in the lot, so happy to collect this one. It's definitely a different design than prior years, but I can go with something different, and another set to collect is good for making some more trades.

Happily, just a few dupes in the bunch, so we get about 30 cards from this set. I like the different look, a bit of a bar lighting / night life kind of look. The photography is great as usual.

The backs of the cards look so much cleaner with black and white use makes it look much cleaner. Some of the other more recent years have done this, versus the mid 2010s when colour was everywhere.

I'm not going to go yet and add all the missing cards from the set to my want list, but maybe when I am done getting through the lot. Always exciting to begin a new set!
