We continue through the PresstiCube and we are into the post 2000 cards which are well, some today, some tomorrow as I split them over the couple days. As for today...
We get some non-flagship sets with some 2001 Fusion and Upper Deck Sweet Spot cards, neither of which I am collecting, but cool to see. Same with the Upper Deck Icons set, though I didn't need two copies of the same card.
Happy surprise to see a National Baseball Card Day Card, though of course it's one I have, actually a set I have complete.
The very nice 150 Years of Fun insert from Opening Day is a new one for me and goes with the other 14 or so of that insert set I have which is nice. Unfortunately (I guess), with all the more recent Topps base cards I picked up, the 2019 and 2020 base set cards I have here, now don't have a home and will need to go elsewhere in trades.
The early base Topps sets though, those are lots of good keepings!
I have a feeling that, when I am all done with the cube, there will be over 250 cards which is nice, but I am guessing it is really to make up for the fact there have been a handful of cards duplicated in the box. So, not going to complain about it, but a couple offsetting factors I guess.
Still not enough Gypsy Queen cards for 2020 to make a run collecting the set...but at least the couple A&G cards are short prints so squeak into a new home here with the inserts/parallels/short prints collection.
A bit of a shame on the Jays side today, but can't win them all.
