So, I rolled the dice on a random pickup at 401games with 100 foil MTG common and uncommon cards for $10. Not bad for the price, though it's going to be a lot of bulk. THat said, figure I could get a number of artifact cards, though maybe nothing new to me, would be fun to see what we get.
Sometimes the foil scans don't come out great, but I can overcome little things like that. The cards so far look to be from the last few years - no surprise there as I don't expect to get anything pre-2010, though that would be pretty cool.
Dyill love the artwork, even if no artifacts yet....
I like the Mistwalker card - interesting abilities and really nice artwork for the card, hard to ask for anything more.
Hmmm.....a little disappointing that there hasn't been any artifacts thus far...
Finally! Neither of the two are new for my collection, but are both keepers - just need about a dozen more to make this "worthwhile". Still, nice bunch of traders if I can find someone willing to trade Magic cards on TCDB.
A trample juggernaut is a solid creature for 5 mana. Seems very similar to a Juggernaut...which makes sense with just a twist for being "Mishra's" I guess.
Not sure a foreboding statue would be overly scary and beneficial as a creature, but I guess, it's a card.
All in - would I do it again? Not for a while. I mean, not enough artifact cards to make it a great win, but fun to see a bunch of foil cards from newer sets. Would probably give it a couple years unless I knew the mix was going to much different. Well, if you were interested in this type of purchase, at least you have a better idea of what to expect now.
