I am hoping that this box will help to move along a 110 card wrestling set that I am stuck at 79 base cards and have been for a while. I got most of that in a single large trade, but with this blaster, hoping to close the gap...
As the other cards I have came from trade, I don't have any of the packs in my unopened pack collection, so here's a look before I hide them away...
Brock turns into Rock when going from the box to the blaster wrapper inside, but all good. Can't go wrong with three sure fire Hall of Famers in either case. The design for the Heritage set is circa 1986, so these cards should look much like the baseball set from that year. Without further ado - first pack to open up then today...
Well, a little variety in the team name aspect would be nice, but I like the use of the design on wrestling cards here.
Braun looks better bald than he did with hair here. Dean is long gone and has been a star in AEW. Karl left, came back, and left again. Triple H runs the show now. Lana has seen her husband Rusev leave WWE, have a poor run in AEW, and return to WWE to again be a bit underwhelming.
Last up, the workhorse of the Women's division, Nattie is what all women wrestlers should strive to be...except maybe with a better gimmick, but at least the flatulence one didn't last and no one remembers.
None of these cards are new base for me though, which doesn't bode well.
At least the "inserts" are all new for my collection...
Not sure why Ultimate Warrior would be considered a WCW All-Star since his run was short, poor, and nothing compared to his time in WWE (WWF) before it.
A mediocre start, but fingers crossed we get different base cards than what we already have!
