Well, bound to get some 1990-91 Pro Set hockey cards whenever you buy an assorted lot. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying it's a bad thing, I love the quirky set, and just need some dupes of error cards for the error binder.
Just this one addition today as the rest are duplicates I don't need, but still fun to look at!
The design was solid for the time, though the black corner traded marker could have been better.
Brings back memories of collecting as a kid - this set was everywhere but with over 700 base cards, lots to get.
Hard to complain when the set made room to even feature the refs!

I love this set too! I was just commenting on Night Owl's post about how I don't have a lot of interest in building or buying junk wax era sets. But I'd love to find a cheap 90/91 Pro Set hockey set for my collection.
ReplyDeleteAs I kid, I literally knew nothing about Hockey other than the biggest names through SportsCenter, but I still had most of this set. I just found it again and Im working to complete it! Also, agree that I love that they put Refs in the set!
