Continuing On

2019 Topps flagship set continues with the next 100 cards, and another solid day as far as set building, though just one Jays pick up here...

Hernandez has his best years so far in Toronto, and it was his longest stint with a single team in his career, and my guess is, that might stick. Now, when I say best year, I mean individual performance because he is probably happiest with 2024 when he and the Dodgers won it all.

A nice bunch more error cards. If you didn't know, it seems that with many pitcher cards in series one were miscalculating the WHIP and ERA on the career line, missing out on one of the years. Simple enough issue I guess, and corrected in series two I believe, but makes for a bunch of potential hits for cards I get to keep outside of the base build!

Trout has some really memorable cards and this is one I really love, the jump and stretch getting up over the wall, very nice photo.

A solid bunch of base cards as I noted, though not a huge number of dupes continuing through the series one cards. I do love the stadium team cards - very excellent, and definitely feel like 75% completion as a starting point for this set is attainable!
