Just a couple TCDB trades to share today, both of the PWE variety.
TonyZ offered up some baseball needs which spany the now and early 90s...
Might be surprising to see 1991 Jays as needs but I am now down to just a few factory set version Jays to finally get the 100 or so different Jays base cards from this set.
The others are uncorrected error cards or set helpers, but regardless of what they are, the great Alomar shot of flying while throwing is fantastic.
Next up, a one card receipt from Jones1976.
Only my second card from 2023 Panini Prizm's 200 card base set, but a good change for a few 1990-91 Pro Set cards I sent away.
Piper was one of the great talkers from the 80s and early 90s and definitely missed.
Loved Piper! Miss him.
ReplyDeleteHe is definitely one of the "it would be interesting if he was a little later to the game" guys. His character in the attitude era would have been interesting - he'd have to of course step up the athleticism as it was just a completely different standard, but the character would have been great for the time.
