Trade Wrap

The Jays look very strong after their first two games with New York. Will have to see if it translates to their play on the road, but the offence has come back well, and pitching has been, for the most part, on point. Not going to say much else about it yet, but watching with hope they keep this strong!

A few TCDB trades to share today.

First up is a small PWE trade with member pennytendencies.

Wouldn't have thought about collecting cards from a deck of cards when it comes to sports card when I was a kid, but here we are as an adult and we have all two Leaf cards from the 1997-98 Bicycle NHL deck. If you were to pick two Leaf stars at the time, they did get the right two.

A Mats Pacific red parallel as well to close the trade.

Next, a trade with fritz63.

Going with the theme of "cards" I collect now that I wouldn't have considered as a kid, I now have all 7 Jays bookmarks from 1993 Diamond Marks Bookmarkers. A bit oversized which is understandable as a bookmark, but cool. Add a couple great Jays with a nice Delgado Silver Slugger insert and that a second great little PWE in the books.

Last up, a trade with Koosh12.

The bulk is help for my 2021 Topps flagship set with a bunch of Rookies. Puts me up to 606 of 660 done into the set. Also a few Jays additions...

2020 Topps Opening Day team set is now in the books with Vladdy. Actually I have a couple of the variations too so I have 8 base cards, but still a few variations to go, but given the added value to them, not sure I will be seeing any of the others.

One and done insert Jays set with Bobo from 2022 Topps Chrome Future Stars, and a first for me, sexy pink Berrios parallel to end it.

Appreciate all the trades and always looking for more!

  1. I would love to stumble across a set of 1993 Diamond Marks at a card show or flea market one day. Love 90's oddball sets like that.
