Today we have the hockey part of the large box trade with DukeyDevil which is heavily focused on Leaf pickups, but some set helpers as well.
Peter is for my finished 1989-90 O Pee Chee set, but a few of the cards are not exactly great due to gum stains, so I picked up a cleaner one. I also had my last 1991-92 Pinnacle final card in this trade as well - oops - so didn't need the additional Valeri.
Both the Felix and Gilmour cards are one and done Leaf cards from insert sets, always cool to get, and the retro look Parkie cards are always nice to pick up.
Another one off insert Leaf with the Last Line Cujo, and another throw back archive mid centre. Some of the cards were dupes and I knew that, but don't mind adding some weight to the Leaf collection through dupes. One day I'll get to at least 100,000 Leafs one way or another!
Will need a couple of the dupe Victory cards as I am getting close on completing that base set, so all good there.
Speaking of set work, 2014-15 Artifacts is a set I started working on when I bought a hobby box at 401games as I loved the design, and here we are getting close to completing the pure base set finally!
I think Alex came in when it was supposed to be a Bruins card to pass on to local collector Jeff, but no worries, I think it was the only mis-card in the box, and human error is not an issue here, I mean, all good!
As always, much appreciate the time and effort put in by DukeyDevil and the others who traded with me in October, and ever in 2024 and well as going forward in 2025. I don't want to figure out how much I spend on postage (likely $200 - $300 a year), but I don't do it for the value of the cards of course, but for the fun of collecting and helping others collect as well.
