The Devil's In The Trade Details

This is the last box I have to share regarding the October free shipping and it's big enough to warrant a few days to get through it. The trade with DukeyDevil starts with a bunch of baseball.

I don't seek out stickers of Jays, but gladly accept them in trades, and we have a number of 80s ones here which are all new for me.

We have some 80s error cards, though they may end up for trade as I think I ended up with them in a couple of simultaneous trades. It doesn't happen often, but can now and then.

Some more Jays and error cards with a single 1991 Bowman base addition.

Classic World Series days Jays with Molitor and Alomar and some Studio set help.

The last 1995 Leaf Jay I needed and some more mid 90s Jays.

Another team set completed as I get 9 of the 24 1996 Score Jays here.

A few more new to me Jays like the Emotion cards, but best for the day is this 3 by 5 Joe Carter...

Remember when serial numbered to 10,000 still felt special? Well, I still appreciate it.

  1. It's crazy how much things changed from 1991 to 1994. If you pulled one of those Donruss Elite inserts in 1991 (#'d to 10,000), you literally felt like you one the lottery. I'm sure it was still pretty cool in 1994, but by then companies like Signature Rookies were flooding the hobby with cards numbered to 10,000.
