Another busy season release from Magic The Gathering, and I picked up what I needed to for my collection....first being a couple of packs to keep...
Very sleek looking and anyone who says Becky Lynch and Chandra here are not the same person must be crazy. Chandra is all sorts of Becky from her steampunk phase. Sure, might be the other way around, but I suspect it's more likely just a coincidence in this case.
Can't buy the packs without also looking to pick up some of the cheap artifact singles - including the foil versions...
So I guess we have gotten to the point that full art cards now, also run the cheap end as well. Less special than before, and printed more than before. Unfortunately it seems to be what happens with many card "gimmicks". You introduce it and it's new and special, you beat it to death and then it's just commonplace.
The Ferry and Catavan are solid looking artwork. I mean, vehicles seem to be a theme for this one, go figure, so good that some of the cards are done well!
I'll definitely take a look back again soon to see if some of the cards which were more expensive initially, tamed down in price and there might be a few more to pick up!
