Just like it says - we have three different small PWE trades from TCDB to work through today, so let's get right to it!
First up, a trade with member Steve1976vd who sent these five cards my way...
These are the silver parallel, though I picked up some of the regular base in trades, a couple just shared yesterday, I have to say, I might like these a bit better. Now, not sure I like the use of the term Veteran for pretty much anyone who is in the league more than a season or two, but I guess they were looking to label everyone....something. Solid, and these are the first silver parallels from the 2022-23 Parkhurst Champions set, hopefully won't be the last.
Next one is from member Yeahsox...
I have to say, that gold foil sure does scan excellently. It looks fine in hand, but much darker than the vibrant scan here. First one I have so first time I have been able to see the difference. Actually, the other two were firsts from Jays cards in their respective sets to, so a nice trio of new cards from this trade.
Lastly, a single card mailing to me from pksteinberg...
A solid base add for the 1982 Topps slow build I have going. Card is in great condition, and knocks out one of the star cards from the set, so that's cool too.
Appreciate all the small trades, though not sure how many small trades I will do going forward since the price for postage is getting crazy these days, but we shall see - so much fun and coll to help other people so it's hard to give up.
I know it's a month in to the season, but I can't help but feel badly for Jordan Romano. ERA was almost 16 at one point but now down below 12. Jays made the right choice for now but hope he still can turn things around
