A new month, a new trade to share, and hopefully some time to get back to having a bit more life time.
Birderman was all about the hockey cards as we get a bunch of Leaf cards in this one going all the way back to the 90s.
The 2005-06 Parkhurst design is underrated. I really like it and it is very much like an O Pee Chee design, that might be why. Too bad it was wasted on a set that was not long after the lockout so I think, got much less attention than it would if released at a better time in the sport.
Speaking of O Pee Chee, a bunch of additions to a few different sets, though no luck finishing any of them, still nice to fill more gaps.
A couple 2022-23 Parkhurst Champions cards - a set I seem to be seeing a bit more of, though I don't even remember it coming out the couple years ago. All good though - Leaf additions happily accepted, no matter the set.
I was able to finish a few small team sets from this trade including the Leafs for the bottom row of sets above. Three Leaf Family Foundation inserts, the one Rookie Connection card, and the second of two 2024 hockey card day base card Leafs.
Same happened with the Timmies set - the bottom row here completing the Leaf base set and the second of two True North Future insert Leaf cards. Can't complain about the additions. Add to those, the fantastic MVP Leaf cards with the blue design just making the Leaf cards look that much better, and this was yet another fabulous trade thanks to another great TCDB member!
