During busy season, a quick pick up from 401games as one of the sets released - well, a couple month ago now, had to be added to my collection as usual. So, we get a couple packs and some of the cheap end artifacts, so let's take a peek.
Not a bad design for either pack. Definitely stands out using the mostly red for the collector pack, and definitely the main colour throughout. Bloor red - year, that will stand out. Innistrade has had a few different sets over the years, so not a surprise that it's brought up again like Ravnica or Dominaria.
As for some of the artifact cards, here are some - I kept out the dupes as I did pick up foil versions of most.
As it first comes to light, zombies and vampires are around in the set as the Blazing Torch can keep them all away!
The Demonmail isn't too shabby as far as equipment goes if you have some cheap low end creatures or token creatures that can be easily sacrificed.
The Traveler's Amulet is a bit of a cost to get a shuffle in. Getting a basic land from your deck can be very necessary if you run into mana problems, but it's more a way to salvage a game and more likely, you would use the card not for that ability, but to shuffle. A fine enough ability for the low cost I guess.
Not too bad a run of cards, but nothing that really stands out as an amazing artifact deck addition. Still, great additions for the artifact card collection!
