Christmas In June

 The BASEball lot provides a little snow during the warmer time of year, and I like it!

The set is done right as sometimes the snowy effect can detract too much for my liking, but this one, I do like. Enough design to make it different, and the green and red accent colours are great. Getting the couple Jays doesn't hurt, and though not enough to add this to my "sets to collect" list, nice cards for trade...

Though, because the accent colours aren't team specific, definitely doesn't look quite as nice with teams like the Jays, Pittsburgh, etc, while coming off nicely for any team in red or green. No surprise, but it does stand out.

No big change to the backs either as the holiday set really is a bit of a tweak to the flagship set to set another product. I mean, just change the accent colours here and done. Still doesn't mean it's a bad lay out - I really do like the set up on the cards for 2020, just not really original and a retread, a good retread though.

With these extra sets that are not really "different" like an A&G or Gypsy Queen, do you actively collect them, or is it more a nice to have for the players' you collect? I am definitely a "just nice to have the Jays" kind of guy for these sets.

Cleaned this up a bit so it doesn't get super long. Might just cut out most the trader sets soon and group them at the bottom....just noticed I marked it as keep instead of trade...I'll update that for tomorrow.
