Contradictions

With the Stanley Cup finals with Edmonton and Florida, I don't have a big desire for either team to win, so will take the Canadian position of wanting to see Wdmonton get it. Would be nice for McDavid and company to finally get one too. Guess time will tell if this happens or the narrative conspiracy theory of "the league doesn't want the Cup to go to Canada" can continue for another year. That said, today's post is still about BASEball.

2020 Allen & Ginter Topps sets from the BASEball lot today, and we get a great starting point, though there aren't a ton of cards here...

Can't go wrong with a sweet looking Vladdy. I really do like the A&G sets - some more than others, but definitely one I look at and contemplate each year. Although these are all base cards, do get some other keepers with the whole short print thing that happens with the A&G sets...

Nice to pick up an Expo in a current set, especially of Rock. Personally, like the Fielder and Morris most next.

As I mention, not a ton of cards but some here for trade if anyone is interested...

Though there weren't many A&G cards, even less of the Chrome variety...

As much as I like A&G, I really don't like the Chrome version. It just goes so against the look and feel of the cards, that I don't know why this was something worth doing. I'd still take the Jays for my collection, but no way I would collect this one!
