In more ways that one, we get into 2021 Bowman from the BASEball lot today, and we get a fair number of Jays and inserts as Bowman likes to make their prospects insert sets, but first a dabbling of the 100 card base set...
A very Bowman design - and not to say anything bad about it, it's fine. I don't think the little side team initials thing is needed at all, but that's about the only complaint.
I do want my full stats on the back though so boo to that, though this presentation is very Bowman as the one year line is what has been done for a while.
Still, a solid start to a new collecting base set with 60% out of the way, as for the inserts...plenty there too, though not really trying for the set...
THe design is quite similar to the base design, which makes sense since it is in some ways treated like a second base set within the set. Same goes for the back design too...
The prospects were not the only inserts though, can't forget the Chrome...
Are there collectors that really prefer and collect Chrome more than the regular base version? I don't see enough of a draft, it's very much the same product...just "chrome-erized". Regardless, keepers for my collection, but we also did pretty well on Jays content too!
Highlight will be the Bo-Bo-Bo-Bo-Bo-tigul 5 Bichette's
Though Woods Richardson wins for quantity on the day.
That's 10 more Woods Richardson cards than he had appearances for the Jays.
