Final stop in the BASEball lot for 2020 sets, and we of course have Topps Update.
The lone Jay, and lone keeper for myself here is Rowdy. His last season with Toronto was in 2021 and since made stops in Milwaukee, Pitssburgh and Seattle. Though getting more time in the bigs once he left Toronto, hasn't seen his average do good things. Then again, he is a career .235 or so hitter.
As for the base set, we do have 1/3 of the set represented...
The fronts of course are standard at this point for 2020 Topps products, and the backs end up with a bit more variety as they work to pad out the 300 card set without a complete re-hash of player cards by adding in things like All-Star and leader related cards. All fine and good for at leas having some purpose to the set I guess, but at least it works as a stand alone instead of being an extended series on the base set like some other sports and brands have done in recent years....
