A quick bit of baseball from the COVID lot today, and it gets to be a new to me set that I get a first look at.
2000 SP Authentic, a set I wasn't around in the hobby to collect at the time it came out, so let's take a look now.
Some solid names including Kerry Wood who was really hot for not very long, and Matt Williams, who I remember from his Giants days a while before 2000.
The card themselves are very nice in cardstock, and the design, a bit bland with white, but great team colour use. At least the foil is easy to read being on white background.
The backs leave a lot of empty space, and disappointing for having the 5 years of stats at most. At least the pics are not the same as the front. Maybe a bit heavy on the NL today, let alone no Jays.
