All over the place with hockey today with cards from the COVID lot.
Can't complain about star power with a few Joe Sakic cards here. The 2002-03 Brett Hull card is actually a base card I need as it's one of those sets I am slowly working on.
An example of faded - one look at Bobby on the Beehive design. Now, had to look closely, and I think this is a printing error, and not a sun related mishap. The colour otherwise is too good, and the fact the "good" corner is so square, I think it's just ink...so we will call it an error card for now.
Oh, other keeper here for base sets is the Dynagon Ice Modano.
I was a little hopeful that the die cut cards may be parallels or inserts, but no such luck - just Pacific being Pacific and doing things a bit different even on their base sets.
Definitely a good run through of sets - almost like a dollar store variety pack with the selection....though maybe a bit better since no "junk wax".
