I like these cards so much, I even rescanned them to have the horizontal cards show accordingly...it just had to be done...they couldn't be all "standing on their side" even if horizontal cards are generally improper (I hope Brodeur doesn't take offense....unfortunately Beliveau, you are still a Montreal Canadien, so I can't make it all better - you should have played somewhere else, and I can't change history....yet).
Highlights:
First - wow, the foil on the Fukudome card actually scanned really well here as it is harder to read in hand than in this scan. First time I've had/seen these cards, they look decent though the foil on the front is a bit excessive. More McDonalds cards are never a bad thing and Anze is a good enough card to me!
Lowlights:
This is about the only kind of McDonalds card I can do without...

Keepers:
Yup, I can take checklists as a good card to keep - actual this means I do have all2 cards for the checklist from the 2008 Topps Chrome set.
Traders:
As is obvious - a number of upper deck star rookie cards, but the one I like best of these is the retro Fleer White card - a basic 80s design, but with the glossy front and nice card stock, it comes out fairly well. I'll touch on the 2003-04 SP Authentic cards more tomorrow...

Kosuke Fukudome never looked so good! I've never seen that particular set before - I might have to track one of those down.
ReplyDeleteIf I come across another - you are more than welcome to it!
