Illustrating Heroes

Cards in magazines are fun - be they Nintendo Power cards in old Nintendo Power magazines, or sports cards in Sports Illustrated - they may not have been high quality as most were thin paper, but now can be hard to find because most did not survive well.

Highlights:

The Santana Moss card is about 10 years old, the back has a couple missing spots because it didn't tear well I presume, but this magazine insert is still nice to see. As is any Montana, especially an insert set one. Add to that a McD hockey need, and Leaf, we end up with some nice highlights.

Keepers:

The 100 card true base for this set keeps coming along well and it does seem there is a likelihood of completion. Though I do want to air brush a Red Wing jersey onto Federov.

Traders:

Fairly nice extras given the number of McD 2006-2007 cards if anyone has needs in this regard, let me know!
