New or little seen sets are always nice

Today we start with a set that, I don't think we have seen any of in the Santa Lot (or maybe one or two). This is 2004-05 SP SIgnature. Another set which takes away the background action shot to focus solely on the player. I give full marks for making the name large and clear on the front.

Something else there hasn't been much of - baseball cards, and more specifically Blue Jays as there have only been a couple dozen through the Santa Lot over the past couple years. Every bit is nice but still...

The rest

Not sure if that Koivu is slightly miscut, but would believe not - just a bit of cut off head syndome in that photo job.

As much as we had a couple things not seen much, here are some usual suspects with 2004-05 Ultra, 2007-08 Topps and 2005-06 Upper Deck - in their usual sports.

  1. Those SP Signature cards represent more than one pack. They came three cards to a tin (not really a pack) and one was guaranteed to be an autograph.

    1. No surprise in not seeing an autographed one here at all. I had looked up a bit on the set, and that it was higher end, but didn't realize that was the way they were sold.

I don't think I am going to see many more here, but cool.
