Vintage and vintage inspired

A good day today that is summarized by vintage, whether actual or inspired. Being that I grew up as a kid with junk wax, I consider anything pre 1980 to be vintage personally.

Highlights:

Sure the Ratelle has a very soft top left corner, but a couple 1978-79 O Pee Chee cards are nice in my book - real vintage. I mean, Jean isn't even wearing a helmet because that was still an option. Besides, I am tempted to count the Bossy as a printing error as I think you lose the thinest of edges on the side, and given the age, it's good enough for me.

We continue the vintage with another hockey card, but this is nicely vintage inspired and gives me the dupe Leaf I need so I have one for the set and one for the Leaf collection.

Yes - we end with some vintage inspired baseball These 2005 Legendary Cuts cards are simple and elegant. I wish more had come up in the cards here, but no such luck. Besides, not every day I pull a Lou Brock card!

Lowlights:

Ready for it.....well...this is in-Fuhr-iating....puns - they can be horrible.

Traders:

Well, can't knock a gold serial numbered parallel of Jason Kidd.

  1. I'll trade for that Kidd. I misplaced the stack of Leafs I had for you but I'm slowly building a new one, hopefully to be combined when I find the first one.

    1. Consider the Kidd yours - I'll stick it aside and wait for any additional requests, then get them out together as usual. :)
