Hockey Variety

Today, the COVID lot just has a variety of hockey cards, so it's kind of like one of those surprise packs from the dollar store - so let's see if there's anything wonderful in the bunch.

Always welcoming to McDonalds cards - and of the bunch, we have a couple Leaf keepers and the Vinny L. card was one I needed to, so a good start.

Fleer Hot Prospects is a slow build set, so those were set needs. I already had the Parkhurst Missing Links Hall, and am not collecting the Detroit Original 6 set, but those are all cool cards as well.

Not much "junk" and what "junk" there is, is Gordie Howe from 1991-92 Pro Set, so can't complain if that is as bad as it gets. SPx cards always look really nice, though I have never had enough of a set to work much on building them.

Happily another Leaf addition, and this one is a first from the set with 2005-06 SP Authentic Stajan.

All in for today, about a handful of set adds, a few Leafs, and a variety of other cards for trade - I'd call that a good day!

  1. That 1991-92 Pro Set card might have been the first Howe I ever pulled from a pack. It was either that card or his 1991-92 Pro Set Platinum.
