Hoping and getting dupes

Depending on how you organize your collection, getting duplicates isn't necessarily a bad thing. I collect Leafs for example, first and foremost, but if I start aiming for a complete set, I pull the applicable Leafs out of the binder for inclusion in the set, and then look for duplicate Leafs to include back in the Leaf binder.

A perfect example is the McDonald's checklist subset I finished fairly recently. I was hoping for a second Leaf's card from it to put back into the Leaf binder and...

Highlights:

I got that and more. Love adding little known Leafs like Newbury, and the noted checklist...definitely a good pack of cards.

Slowly getting closer to completing the 1990-1991 O Pee Chee set - only about 80% of the way there, and some are "gum burned" but we shall see as we continue - at least the Vancouver checklist is unscathed.

Traders:

I am getting enough of the 2007-08 Topps 57-58 variation cards that, if I cared, I may get the bulk of a set done...if things continue as they have been of course. Glad I have the Tugnutt card already for the set completion mentioned because harsh damage on that one...
