Flair for the Gold

Remembrance day - make sure to thank all those who serve or have served, remember those who have been lost, and to those who know either, may we all remember.

On a lighter note, let's take a look at today's 20 cards from the Santa Lot and see if we come out with something for the collection.

Highlights:

The Flair Showcase Leaf is also an insert - excellent pull, and nice looking card. It may have come across better with a bit more colour than just the full body shot, but shiny is acceptable as well.

Earlier this week I mentioned getting some gold medallion parallels out of 2007-08 Ultra but no ice parallels - well, here is another of those gold parallels for the collection.

Being a fan of the Raptors and following their early days, I always think of McGrady and Christie more as Raps than as they are shown here. The McGrady shot - post dunk - is a really nice shot. Also find the Rookie Fantasy Challenge cards an interesting insert, though the design could be better...too much going on for my liking.
