Highlights:
Great to get these since I have not had many, but just look at that Vinny Rottino card. All throwback looking except for the nice out of place rookie card graphic slabbed on the front. It just throws away a bit of what they are going for with the look of the cards to have a new graphic on the card like this. If anything, could they not either add the notation to the back, or use a throwback styled font.

A decent rookie card to pick up as Purcell has continued on in the NHL having a number of seasons now with the Lightning.
Traders:
Nice overall photo work with these Fleer Tradition cards - especially the Pierce and have to like Scottie with his facial expression.

From what I've gathered the MLB has the rookie card logo and placement in the contract. I agree, for Heritage it's out of place.
ReplyDeleteEven a simple "RC" in the same font as the team name and position at the bottom, but in the same place on the card, would be more acceptable, and a lot more subtle.
