Still really love these McD cards. Not the first Tuckerfrom the set I picked up, but still happy to see it.
The rest
Keepers:
I have to admit...these cards are starting to grow on me a little bit. I don't think I care much about the life long minor league player cards, but it is somewhat interesting to see the NHL stars in their pre-NHL days.
Traders:
Another run of cards from NBA MVP...full of Jazz, but the Starquest football card of Ed Reed out of 2008 Upper Deck, is pretty darn snazzy with the blue hue. I need me some Maple Leaf cards made in this Starquest design...that would look pretty neat.

It's funny, because the life long minor leaguers have me wondering "What happened and what are you doing now?"
ReplyDeleteFrom a collection stand point, they do nothing for me - from a human interest standpoint of - how did life turn out since they didn't make it - would be interesting. The guy who spent 15 years in the minors and then went on to coach a young future NHL star on a local team, or to just opening a sports shop, or getting out of sports completely...
