Not just about the Island

Yeah, there are an abundance of Islander cards today, but I can't just take that as the highlight, and frankly, many probably wouldn't consider that anything but a lowlight. Regardless, a long Islander gets the nod along with some other more temporary additions...

This card will look a bit familiar later since I also got the base version in the keepers.


These are a great highlight for the day though as these bring the missing cards down to only 9 of the 50 in this insert set. The question is going to be - who will I be trading this off too when this is all done (and will it be a complete set).

Yeah - a New York kind of day today. Not necessarily a bad thing, but not as good as a Toronto day would have been. Still, nice to see a variety of sets represented including Power Play which have only been less than a handful over the Lot.

As for the base Nokelainen, I like the gold parallel better than the ugly purple background here...
