Simply put, the 20 cards for today didn't look to be too promising, until the last card...

Highlight:

This saved the day as not only is it a Leaf, it was a need. Always nice when a pack that isn't looking too good gets turned around by the last card.

Keepers:

I don't think Pacific cards received a lot of love at the time of their release - too many different sets, a bit out there in design at the time. Now in retrospect, I think there is a desire to have seen some of the designs last on a bit longer and Pacific do a bit better than it did.

The Vanguard Hrdina card here is a great example of a solid design, excellent card stock, and poential in a card set.

Also, though I have never been a big fan of In The Game, it seems that the few cards from the set that I have seen in the Santa Lot are future NHLers.
