Beantown

Don't get me wrong, I am no Boston fan. I appreciate the history, sporting and otherwise, of the city, but the Jays/Boston rivalry back in the heyday of Roger Clemons in the late 80s / early 90s soured me a bit on the town for sports. Then when Roger came to Toronto, it was a confusing time. Thank goodness Patrick Roy never became a Leaf...

Not to say I hate Boston sports teams...they are generally fine when not interfering with Toronto teams....not like Montreal...Montreal will always be hated...

Highlights:

So I figured, since they are keepers and all the same team - has to be the highlight today. A beantown hot pack - and there are more, but not keepers, so not as special today...

Traders:

Actually a couple funny things I hadn't noticed before in the pictures here - which is why sometimes there is a benefit to getting a card multiple times - it forces multiple looks. First, Seabrook caught mid hit - hadn't noticed the same way before...if he was looking down, I'd say it would look more like he was helping him up...

The Recchi card catches three players in very similar poses including Crosby trying to steal his limelight on the card. Almost a good enough picture that, if I was a Crosby collector, I'd almost count this one in!
