Today, we get to either walk it off, or scratch it off...whichever you prefer...
Collector's Choice sets had some unique inserts in the mid-90s. The Walk card is in a game playing card style and is the interactive type game they were going for. Another team versus team card, though this one is opened and scratched/used, but that is what they were for. Not sure how to play or rules to winning as there is a bunch of small print on the back, but unique as far as inserts go.
Not a lot of Leaf-y goodness, but a dupe that will be needed as this is a set I am slowly working on - 1995-96 Score.
Wasn't the only set helper though...
Sweet - really always liked the 1990-91 design used for Topps / O Pee Chee, so nice to pick up a few more base card needs here. Same could be said for the 1991-92 Pro Set Platinum, though not really much of a design on the front and no states on the back - it was a unique set.
We do have some unwanted sports cards...
plus a whole bunch more Batman cards. Will have to check in on the set collection if I can actually get to about 130 cards in this. There have been a couple dupes so far, but no worries.
Haven't really looked at the number too hard in a while, so looking now - pretty even between the four major sports, though basketball is lagging a bit...but I won't complain on that end. Being into May now as 7,000 cards in, but also looking at what is left...I think this will be over 20k in cards once all done...just don't know if I will be done by the end of the year unless I get bored and take bigger bites out of the lot, but don't see that happening yet...
I've been enjoying seeing the Batman trading cards. So far... The Master of Disaster is my favorite.
