So this is a 250 card base set, the last 50 cards of which are rookie cards, so depending on how you look at it, you could consider the last 50 cards part of the pure base set or not. I wonder with these sets, because the rookie cards are usually noted as being one per pack, or one every couple packs, or something of that sort (for this set it is one for every two packs, or every 12 cards), if they actually have much of a different print run).
So, I have 120 of the 200 non-rookie cards, and 18 of 50 for the rookie cards. Would love to finish either just the 200, or full 250 base set, but will wait until being done with the Santa Lot to see how much is really still missing.
Of the cards above, the last is actually one of the two checklists. Not surprising the checklist photos were Crosby and Ovechkin.
Obviously hit a bunch of 2008 Donruss Threads today, as well as some unneeded 2008-09 Upper Deck Victory cards. Still, I enjoy the McDonalds cards, so getting dupes like Alfredsson, I would take all day long.
