Pack Attack - 2014 Topps Baseball Series 1

Today we have a pack of 8 cards from 2014 Topps series one - I know - shocking given the title to this post. A couple inserts or parallel or Jays cards would be great.



Decent enough cards, but not a great start for my collecting, though I had none of these yet.


A great shot of a slide into home - like this one, and Upton's a solid player who is a 4 time all star I believe.


I like the blue Walmart parallels. Work really well with the Jays.


Not going to complain about this as a last card - The Rock! Really like the 1989 Topps designed die cast minis, and other than a Jay, this is one of the ones I would really like to have pulled.

Overall - good pack I think!

    I like the photograph on this Raines better than his original 1989 Topps card. I just wish they'd match the scrip better when recreating older sets - at least they could have called him Rock again!

      I prefer this on compared to the original '89 as well.

      I don't mind the current look, but I prefer the throwback and actually many of the throwbacks these days (Houston and San Diego just off hand are why I say most and not all...).
