A Trios

Always a successful day of pulling cards from a lot when I can walk away with three Toronto cards for the collection. With the different foil stamp variations, a couple of these may actually be new for me as well.

1992-93 Upper Deck is a great set to come across in general in this lot because it's a set I had "some" of - about 180 cards of the 640 card set, but with a whole lot of room for growth, there will be plenty of cards I may just get here to reduce that long list of needs.

I don't really mind the dupes here either as I suspect, these are solid cards for trade fodder as many probably collect Upper Deck as the main brand in hockey, so we shall see if they are useful in that regard at least.

As for 7th Inning cards - these sets are not something I enjoy. They are minor league cards, and the quality is minor league as well. Sure, you get a lot of names that never made it to the NHL, so interesting in that regard, but I see too much of these cards and don't collect them, so they are a pass.

Still, great day overall.

  1. Whenever I see those 7th Inning Sketch cards... my mind immediately goes to Jon's header over at A Penny Sleeve For Your Thoughts.
