I guess it goes a bit with the Goudey card from yesterday, but unfortunately this one wonèt be keopt by me - but I guess for you it could be fortunate, if you collect Soccer...
Christie is a long time US national team player being on the team, as the card states, for 311 caps as of 2016 (from February 1992 through 2016 as far as time goes).
Decent card, like St. Louis yesterday. I am not a fan of the airbrushed clothing, but I get why itès done.
It was actually a really good pack though, as only a few other traders...
As for the many keepers...
I don't have much of 1993 SP baseball, but it is a very nice design and in a good way, reminds me of early 90s Upper Deck flagship sets.
A whole bunch of 1991-92 Parkhurst, and all from the second release which works out well as I have most of the first half. By time these packs are done, I may look to take a run at completing the set! There was actually one other keeper...
Yay - a Leaf. This is my seventh copy, but still, another Leaf.
In another interesting note - a few Listia pick ups for sharing...
A new Jays add - actually my first card out of 2018 Update too. ALso Christy out of the Reflexxions TNA cards which is a set, I have a few of, and like the design of to be honest, though not sure why. The more interesting pick up though is...
This is 1954-55 Parkhurst wrestling - probably the earliest wrestling set I will ever pick up a card out of. The condition isn't great, but given the age, I am okay with that. A shame the couple spos on the back where the writing is gone, but again, given the age - all good and a nice little add for the price of less than the stamp it was shipped by.
Ohhhhhh... Christy Hemme. My favorite!
ReplyDeleteOne of mine as well.
ReplyDeleteNick Bockwinkel's father~~!! That's awesome. Apparently he was a pretty big star at that time.
