Hold My Beer Money

Another day, another pack, another few additions to the collection, with most being wrestling.

I mentioned the 1990-91 O Pee Chee Premier set as being one that was somewhat close to being focused on for completion, and lo and behold, here is another card knocked off the need list, along with a trio of wrestling adds.

TNA seems to be a big part of the wrestling cards in these repacks while not so much on WWE. There are still the odd WWE card, but definitely in the minority.

Beer Money was a very successful tag team in TNA, and nowadays most wrestling fans probably know Bobby / Robert Roode for his glorious entrance in WWE. James Storm has had a few cups of coffee with WWE and specifically NXT, but it just hasn't come together the way it did for Roode.

We do still get another Leaf addition, though it is familiar from these repacks, but at least it brought a friend.

As for the traders...

Heavy on the 1991 Leaf baseball today, but not much help - except a card to send to Mike over at Not Another Baseball Card Blog. Also here, the first Donruss Priority hockey cards I think I ever ended up with in hand. A bit of a different design, but nothing too spectacular.

Let's see if I can continue getting some Toronto content tomorrow.

  1. I went through a phase where I was chasing down unopened boxes of Donruss Priority. I really, really wanted to build the stamp set.

    1. One of those sets I never remember seeing at the time, and now, just as rare to see...though being 20 years later, I can understand that part at least.
